HCS SB 1078 -- COUNTY RECORDER OF DEEDS

This bill transfers custody of the County Recorder's Fund from
the State Treasurer to the Department of Revenue.  Moneys in the
County Recorder's Fund are not to be considered state funds.

The bill also clarifies that the Department of Revenue must
administer the Uniform Commercial Code Transition Fee Trust Fund.
Moneys in that fund are not to be considered state funds.  The
Secretary of State is required to provide the Department of
Revenue and the County Employees' Retirement Fund with an
accurate record of the moneys.
